The room was clean and pleasant. Staff was welcoming. The Hummingbird Restaurant has an excellent breakfast and dinner menu. Will definitely return. Close to the river and great restaurants.
2nd time here. First time we hosted family a week for a parent's funeral.They did a good job. This time we came for fun .

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for our 28th anniversary. The hotel is beautiful, the setting and location are spectacular and the staff was wonderful. Our Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was amazing. I wish I could remember the two staff members names. The gentleman that served us was beyond accommodating and the food, although expensive for breakfast, was without complaint. Now for the bad. Our room was older, very musty and very loud. The AC unit caused the sheets and our clothing to be damp. We are longtime members of IGH so we were disappointed that we were not offered an upgrade for our 30th wedding anniversary. Over all, great stay.
Great hotel! The staff is fantastic, friendly, and helpful! The location is awesome, easy walking to so many great shops. Plus the walking path on the river is well maintained.
Really enjoyed how walkable, clean and safe the area is. The hotel staff were also very welcoming, professional and responsive. I did not enjoy paying the daily fee that is tacked on to the overall cost but it would not prohibit me from staying here in the future.
I had issues with my room it was dirty and there was thermostat issues. However, the pillows were amazing and lofty and the bed was very comfortable. The laughing hyena lady working at the front desk was super annoying.
Solid location for Old Town Alexandria. This was my second stay at this location. My room had an HVAC issue, which they resolved by moving my to another room. Very walkable and the location along the Patomic makes for great views. At at the related Cafe for breakfast and dinner. Food and service was also solid. Will stay again.
